General advisory and professional organizations under the Department
1. Department Office
a) Function: Advise and assist the Director of the Department on organizational work, cadres, civil servants, public employees and labor; emulation, reward and discipline work; administrative reform, administration - management; legal work, control of administrative procedures; information technology, digital transformation; finance, accounting and property work; Statistical work falls under the management authority of the Department in accordance with the provisions of law.
b) The organizational structure includes: Chief of Office, 02 Deputy Chiefs of Office, chief accountant, professional civil servants and staff.
2. Department Inspector
a) Function: Advise and assist the Director of the Department on administrative inspection and specialized inspection; Receiving citizens and resolving complaints and denunciations, preventing and combating corruption in accordance with the provisions of law.
b) The organizational structure includes: Chief Inspector, 02 Deputy Chief Inspectors, inspectors and staff.
3. Department of Traffic Construction Quality Management
a) Function: Advise and assist the Director of the Department in performing state management functions on engineering, quality of traffic works and sector planning management; Transport infrastructure development investment plans fall under the management of the Department or are decentralized and authorized according to the provisions of law.
b) The organizational structure includes: Head of department, 01 Deputy Head of department and professional civil servants.
4. Department of Traffic Infrastructure Management
a) Function: Advise and assist the Director of the Department in performing state management functions on management and maintenance to ensure standards and technical regulations of the road traffic network, urban railways, local inland waterways that are being exploited within the scope of management of the Department or authorized according to the provisions of law.
b) The organizational structure includes: Head of department, 01 Deputy Head of department and professional civil servants.
5. Department of Transport, Vehicle and Driver Management
a) Function: Advise and assist the Director of the Department in performing state management functions on transport activities and support services for road transport, inland waterways, and urban railways in the province; management of road, inland waterway and railway vehicles; training and testing for driving licenses; State management of drivers of road, inland waterway and urban railway vehicles; Traffic safety work falls under the management authority of the Department according to the provisions of law. Appraisal of technical designs in repairing and converting means of transport, vehicles, loading and unloading equipment, and construction equipment specifically used in road transport and inland waterways in the locality or as decentralized according to provisions of the law.
b) The organizational structure includes: Head of Department, 02 Deputy Heads of Department and professional civil servants.
