The project to renovate and upgrade key sections on National Highway 25 was approved by the Ministry of Transport as an investment project in Decision No. 1628/QD-BGTVT dated August 30, 2019 with a total investment of 730,202 billion VND, Implementation period 2020 - 2021. In particular, the section through Phu Yen province was decided by the Ministry of Transport to invest in the construction of key sections through cities and towns with high traffic density with a length of about L=8.5km, including sections: Section through Tuy Hoa city/Km0 ÷ Km2+700 (including new construction of Tran Hung Dao bridge with design load HL93); Section through Phu Hoa town/Km11+633 ÷ Km13+485; Section through Cung Son town/Km44+600 ÷ Km47+125.
Phu Yen Department of Transport was assigned by the Ministry of Transport to be the investor of project component 1 including the section through Tuy Hoa city/Km0 ÷ Km2+00 (in which new construction of Tran Hung Dao bridge with load capacity HL93 design) and the section through Phu Hoa town/Km11+700 ÷ Km13+500, with a total investment of 230, 206 billion; Investment scale: Section connecting to inner city road . Tuy Hoa (Km0 ÷ Km2+700): Roadbed 22m wide, including: 4 motor vehicle lanes 4x3.5m=14m; 2 mixed lanes 2x2m=4.0m; safety strip 2x0.5m=1.0m; 2.0m median strip; bundle seams, weave trenches 2x0.5m=1m; New construction of Tran Hung Dao bridge with a width of 22m, including 3 spans of prestressed plate girders with a span of 24m. Section through Phu Hoa town (Km10+800 ÷ Km13+500): Roadbed is 12m wide, including: 2 motor vehicle lanes 2x3.5m=7m; 2 mixed lanes 2x2m=4.0m; bundle seams, knit trenches 2x0.5m=1m. Construction time to complete the project according to the Contract: 340 days (expected to be completed before June 30, 2021).
