The Department of Transport held a conference to sign a commitment not to load vehicles exceeding the allowable load by 2024.

Continue to effectively implement  Directive No. 23-CT/TW, dated May 25, 2023 of the Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership in ensuring traffic order and safety in the current situation. new image; Directive  of the Prime Minister:  No.  32/CT-TTg  dated November 25, 2016 on strengthening the control of traffic load No. 10/CT-TTg dated April 19, 2023  on strengthening the work of ensuring road traffic order and safety in the new situation; Circular No. 41/2023/TT-BGTVT dated December 29, 2023 of the Ministry of Transport regulating the loading of goods on road vehicles, effective from February 15, 2024; Traffic safety year plan 2024 with the theme  "Respecting the law to build a safe traffic culture".

On the morning of March 6, 2024, the Department of Transport held a conference to sign a commitment not to load goods on vehicles exceeding the allowed load  to  continue to propagate to leaders of freight transport companies and businesses. Improve awareness of responsibility, comply with legal regulations on traffic order and safety, and do not carry goods exceeding the allowable load when participating in traffic . 

Attending the commitment signing conference were leaders of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee Office; Traffic Police Department - Provincial Police; departments, divisions and units under the Department of Transport and nearly 40 freight transport units in the province.

Comrade Nguyen Tan Chan - Deputy Director of the Department of Transport, chaired the conference to deploy guiding documents of the Government, Ministry of Transport and Provincial People's Committee on vehicle load control; Require freight transport  units  to strengthen management at their units; Continue to propagate drivers to comply with legal regulations on traffic order and safety, improve self-awareness and responsibility in not exceeding the allowed load; Do not extend the side of the trunk; Strictly implement the loading of the above goods on the vehicle in accordance with the provisions of law and the contents signed in the Commitment.

At the Conference, Department Inspectorate leaders disseminated some new contents of Circular  No. 41/2023/TT-BGTVT dated December 29, 2023 of the Ministry of Transport regulating the loading of goods on vehicles. road traffic, effective from February 15, 2024 (replacing Circular No. 35/2013/TT-BGTVT dated October 21, 2023) and penalties for administrative violations in traffic operations. Loading and unloading goods and carrying goods exceeding the allowable load according to regulations.

At the Conference, representatives of freight transport units spoke and committed to strictly implementing the loading of goods onto vehicles that do not exceed the allowable load and the contents of the signed commitments. In the coming time, the Department's Inspectorate will strengthen inspection of the units' implementation of the Commitment and handle violations according to the provisions of law./.
