Position and functions
1. Department of Transport of Phu Yen province (hereinafter referred to as Department of Transport) is a specialized transportation agency under the People's Committee of Phu Yen province; Performing the function of advising and assisting the People's Committee of Phu Yen province in state management of: roads, inland waterways, urban railways; carriage; traffic safety; management, exploitation, maintenance and repair of urban traffic infrastructure including: road bridges, overpasses, sidewalks, streets, median strips, road sign systems, traffic control lights traffic tunnels, pedestrian tunnels, road motor tunnels, pedestrian bridges, bus stations, and parking lots in the area.
2. The Department of Transport has legal status, its own seal and account; Subject to the direction and management of organization, staffing and work of the People's Committee of Phu Yen province; at the same time, it is subject to the direction, guidance, inspection, and professional examination of the Ministry of Transport.
